Harrington goes 3-for-5 as Heat Squeeze Past Saskatoon
|
In a tight contest at Ballpark of Red Deer College, the Kelowna Heat edged the Saskatoon Legends by the score of 7-6. Kelowna designated hitter Henry Harrington, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The Heat bumped their record to 29-27 with this latest triumph.
Harrington had a game-changing single in the top of the ninth. On a full count sinker from Jim Reusch, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Heat a 7-6 lead. It was the 68th hit of the year for Harrington.
"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Harrington.
