Goguen Slugs Legends to 11-3 Win
The Saskatoon Legends handed the Trois-Rivieres Saints a sound defeat, 11-3, at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Pat Goguen was a main contributor to the win. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for Saskatoon. The winner was Jason Keeping, who threw 82 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits. The save went to Quinn Desjardins, his 3rd this season.

Goguen had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Legends went on to win.

"Enjoyed this one," Goguen told the Saskatoon News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

Saskatoon goes to 33-20. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
