It was a fun time at Ballpark of Chilliwack College, where the London Monarchs and Victoria Capitals tangled.

The Victoria Capitals relied on the hitting of third baseman Jim Dixon to stop the London Monarchs, 9-2. For the game, Dixon hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Capitals bumped their record to 26-25 with this latest triumph.

Dixon had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Capitals went on to win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Dixon. "And not try to do too much."
