Dodds Delivers Walk-Off Win for Heat
Kelowna beat Saskatoon at Brantford College Grounds, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Kevin Palmer, who earned player of the game honors. Ken Oxford picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Jim Reusch was tagged with the loss. The Heat bumped their record to 24-24 with this latest triumph.

Kelowna's win came gift-wrapped. With one out in the bottom of the 14th, with the game tied, Stan Dodds reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.

"It was terrific getting this win," Dodds said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
