Royales Take Nail-Biter Over Monarchs
It was a good time at Eliminators Ballpark, where fans came to watch the London Monarchs and Montreal Royales get after it.

The Royales had to overcome a fine performance from London pitcher Ray Batstone to grab a 4-3 win at Eliminators Ballpark. Batstone allowed 2 earned runs over 6 innings. Montreal reliever Stephen Lau was the winner. His record is now 4-0. Harry Ayotte took the loss.

The Royales got a big at-bat from first baseman Christopher Harrington. For the game, Harrington went 1-5 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Montreal a 4-3 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Harrington. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Montreal is now riding a 5-game win streak.
