Jesso Excels, But Royales Win
Trois-Rivieres shortstop Randy Jesso had a good game, even if his team did not. The Saints dropped a 14-13 decision to Montreal at Blue Wings Ballpark. Jesso hit 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times. Montreal is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Richard Adamic hit a 2-run double off Reilly Nisbet in the top of the fourth, which put the Royales in front, 9-7. In addition to the double, Adamic had 1 single, while going 2 for 6.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Kevin Haynes said.
