Legends Win at Trois-Rivieres, 5-2

The Saskatoon Legends trumped the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 5-2, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Saskatoon designated hitter Burt Kavanagh was named player of the game for his performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. The winner was Saskatoon reliever Quinn Desjardins, now 4-1. The loser was Ben Evans. Saskatoon leads the Lester B. Person League West Division by 4 games.
The Legends got a big at-bat from left fielder Carl Poulin. For the game, Poulin was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Saskatoon a 2-0 lead.
