Stars Get One-Run Win at Trois-Rivieres
The Niagara Stars overcame a good performance by Trois-Rivieres right fielder Tom Horne to knock off Trois-Rivieres, 7-6, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Horne was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. The first-place Stars have won 4 straight games.

The Stars got a big at-bat from shortstop George Greening. For the game, Greening went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Niagara a 6-3 lead.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Greening told the Niagara Times. "It's as simple as that."
