Legends Get Past London for 6-5 Win
It was a good time at Ballpark of Red Deer College, where fans came to watch the London Monarchs and Saskatoon Legends get after it.

The Saskatoon Legends did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the London Monarchs at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Nobody did more than pitcher Zach Arrington, who captured player of the game honors. Saskatoon reliever Jim Reusch was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Todd Trenholm took the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Saskatoon designated hitter Burt Kavanagh, facing Todd Trenholm, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Legends the 6-5 win.

"It's a mindset," said Arrington. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

Saskatoon has now won 3 in a row.
