The Kelowna Heat beat the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 8-2, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Kelowna first baseman Jason Leahy earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The last-place Saints have dropped 4 straight games.

Leahy had a key at-bat for Kelowna early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Kelowna an early 2-0 lead.
