Kelowna right fielder Kevin Parry had 7 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Calgary Outlaws, 13-11. Kelowna reliever Marcus Rumbolt picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Carl Kurucz was saddled with the loss. The Heat bumped their record to 17-12 with this latest triumph.

Jason Leahy was the walk-off hero for Kelowna. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Heat first baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"We take it day by day here," said Leahy, "and today was a good one for us."
