Victory Pushes Legends Record to 16-11
|
Saskatoon right-hander Jan Woodbury made an effective start against the Montreal Royales at Ballpark of Red Deer College, leading his team to a 4-2 win. The Legends bumped their record to 16-11 with this latest triumph.
The Legends got a big at-bat from second baseman Duncan Snow. For the game, Snow went 2-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Saskatoon a 3-2 lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Snow said after the game.
