Monarchs Lose Again, 5-2, to Royales
Christopher Cowley was instrumental in his team's 5-2 triumph over the London Monarchs. The right fielder went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Montreal Royales. Stephen Lau earned his 5th save in 6 tries. The Monarchs have now dropped 6 straight.

Cowley contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Montreal in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Cowley took a fastball from Keith Ormon and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Royales to leap in front, 5-2.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Cowley. "And not try to do too much."
