Multi-HR Game for Hodgson in 10-8 Win
|
It was a good time at Corvettes Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Kelowna Heat and Calgary Outlaws get after it.
Calgary first baseman Dan Hodgson played a vital role in his team's 10-8 triumph over Kelowna. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for Calgary. Carl Kurucz earned the save for Calgary, his 3rd.
Chris Hickey, who is rated as the 74th best prospect by BNN, aided the Calgary cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Hodgson said after the game.
Calgary leads the Lester B. Person League West Division by 2 games.
