Legends Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Kelowna
|
The Saskatoon Legends topped the Kelowna Heat, 7-3, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Ballpark of Red Deer College. The player of the game was Saskatoon pitcher and Toronto, Canada native Ralph Sulis. The Legends bumped their record to 14-10 with this latest triumph.
Eddie Steele, who is tied for 5th in the LBL in home runs with 8, chipped in for Saskatoon with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"We did a lot of things right," said Sulis.
