The Victoria Capitals trumped the Calgary Outlaws, 5-4, at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. Victoria center fielder Morton Gallant was named player of the game for his performance. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Victoria has now won 3 in a row.

Gallant had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a 0-1 curveball from Carl Kurucz, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Capitals a 5-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Gallant.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Calgary manager Kiminobu Kamida.
