Saints Shut Out Legends
The Trois-Rivieres Saints got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ben Evans, who stifled the Saskatoon offense en route to a 3-0 Saints win at Blue Wings Ballpark. Waldo Perron recorded the save for Trois-Rivieres, his 2nd of the season. Even with the win, the Saints have a dismal 7-14 record.

Randy Jesso's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning was a big one for Trois-Rivieres. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Trois-Rivieres leading 1-0, the shortstop reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Evans said.
