Saints designated hitter Bill Hopkins put his stamp on his team's 10-6 win over the Kelowna Heat. Hopkins went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Trois-Rivieres in the contest. Steven Pinnell got the save, the 1st for him this season. Even with the win, the Saints have a dismal 6-14 record.

Hopkins had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Saints went on to win.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Saints manager Jason Raymond. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
