Howe drives in 4 runs to Power Monarchs Offense
The London Monarchs defeated the Victoria Capitals, 7-3, at Hatchets Ballpark. London catcher Herbert Howe was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Monarchs bumped their record to 10-9 with this latest triumph.

Howe contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for London in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Howe took a curveball from Bernard Favier and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Monarchs to leap in front, 2-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Howe told the London Gazette.
