Victory Pushes Outlaws Record to 12-7
|
The Calgary Outlaws defeated the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 3-2, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Calgary first baseman Dan Hodgson was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Calgary now has a 4-game win streak.
Hodgson had a key at-bat for Calgary early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and gave Calgary an early 2-0 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Hodgson told the Calgary Bulletin.
