Heat, Dodds Pin Bad Loss on Legends
With left fielder Stan Dodds leading the charge, the Kelowna Heat defeated the Saskatoon Legends, 10-2, at Brantford College Grounds. Dodds, who is tied for 9th in the LBL with a .682 slugging percentage, hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The win boosts the Heat to 13-5. The loss puts the Legends at 11-7.

Dodds contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Kelowna in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Dodds took a curveball from Zach Arrington and stroked the home run to right. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Heat to leap in front, 3-2.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Heat manager Bob Cunningham.
