Legends Can't Finish, Lose 5-3
|
Randy Stackhouse left his imprint on the 5-3 Calgary win against the Saskatoon Legends. Stackhouse, who is tied for 6th in the LBL in bases on balls with 12, was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Tom Nichols was credited with the save for Calgary, his 1st of the season. The Outlaws bumped their record to 9-7 with this latest triumph.
Stackhouse had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-2 fastball from Jonathan Horton, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Outlaws a 5-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Stackhouse.
"We did a lot of things right," said Stackhouse.
