The skies opened up and the rain fell at Blue Wings Ballpark.

Vernon Prest left his imprint on the 8-6 Trois-Rivieres win against the Montreal Royales. Prest, who is rated as the 40th best prospect by BNN, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Montreal has now lost 5 in a row.

Trois-Rivieres took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, catcher Ben Chambers hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
