The Trois-Rivieres Saints and Kelowna Heat cranked it up at Brantford College Grounds.

The Kelowna Heat bested the Trois-Rivieres Saints by a score of 7-3, with catcher Eric Lupkoski getting the main credit. On the day, Lupkoski was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Heat. Kelowna, now 7-4, has played well in the early going.

Lupkoski had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 cutter from Avery Diamond, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Heat a 7-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Lupkoski.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Lupkoski said after the game.
