McCluskie Helps Legends Run Win Streak to 4
|
The Saskatoon Legends bested the London Monarchs by a score of 11-5, with first baseman Mike McCluskie getting the main credit. On the day, McCluskie went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Legends. With their winning streak at 4, the Legends have raced to a strong start this season.
McCluskie contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Saskatoon in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, McCluskie took a fastball from Zack Hogan and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Legends to leap in front, 3-1.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," McCluskie said after the game.
