London and Montreal duked it out at Eliminators Ballpark and the Monarchs came out victorious.

The London Monarchs topped the Montreal Royales, 10-7, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Eliminators Ballpark. The player of the game was London designated hitter Lonnie Joy. John Agnew got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings. Harry Ayotte recorded his 2nd save for London.

Bruce Michaud, who is rated as the 98th best prospect by BNN, aided the London cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
