Outlaws Rally For Late Win Over Saints
|
The Calgary Outlaws reigned over the Trois-Rivieres Saints in damp conditions at Corvettes Ballpark.
Benefiting from Keith Harkness's productive game, the Calgary Outlaws downed the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 7-3. Harkness went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Outlaws. Calgary, now 4-2, has played well in the early going.
The Outlaws got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Graham Carmichael. For the game, Carmichael was 1 for 1. In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Calgary a 4-3 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Harkness said.
