Earthquakes Lose to Armada, 6-2
|
Quebec starter Adhipa Vemireddy pitched effectively against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. Quebec has 4 straight wins, San Francisco 4 straight losses.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. That's when shortstop Matsudaira Shimada, who was drafted in the two round of the 2027 draft, hit a single. The Armada went on to win.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Vemireddy.
