Santa Fe left-hander Mehmood Dar pitched his team to victory over the Las Vegas Aces at The Fire House. The final score was 6-4. Jun'ichi Suzuki closed it out for his 4th save. Santa Fe, now 7-2, has played well in the early going.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the fourth, with the game tied, Bill Grant was at the plate when Santa Fe scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Fuego to go in front, 3-2.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Dar.
