Heat Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Trois-Rivieres
The Kelowna Heat picked up a win at Blue Wings Ballpark, knocking off the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 6-1. On the mound for Kelowna was left-hander Dan Lovell, who played a pivotal role in the win. Lovell went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-0. Kelowna, now 2-1, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Kelowna left fielder Stan Dodds contributed to the cause with a single in the top of the fourth. For the game, Dodds went 1-4 with a walk.
