The Saskatoon Legends defeated the Victoria Capitals, 6-4. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Gideon Vaillancourt, who went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Saskatoon reliever Brian Gunter picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rich Tanner was saddled with the loss.
