Bulldogs Bang Out 10-7 Win Versus LSU
J.P. Pinkerton left his imprint on the 10-7 Mississippi State win against the LSU Tigers. Pinkerton went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mississippi State reliever Justin McNair was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Doug Young took the loss for LSU. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 24-21 with this latest triumph.

Pinkerton had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Bulldogs went on to win.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Mississippi State skipper Carlton Price.
