Prowlers Lose to Bombers, 11-4
The South Carolina Bombers defeated the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 11-4, in Thurman Munson League action at Bomber Ballpark. Zhao-ying Gai received player of the game honors. The 8-year veteran was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Bombers bumped their record to 42-32 with this latest triumph.

The Bombers got a big at-bat from first baseman Steve Lindsey. For the game, Lindsey was 1 for 4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 11th home run of the season gave South Carolina a 5-4 lead.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Lindsey told the South Carolina Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
