Rizzo Stars in 49'ers Win
Long Beach State right fielder Jason Rizzo had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 11-6 win over the Oregon State Beavers. Long Beach State starter Brandon Christopher was credited with the win after throwing 85 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 2-3. With the win, the 49'ers improved to 21-24.

The 49'ers got a big at-bat from second baseman Andy Carter. For the game, Carter was 1-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the top of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Long Beach State a 2-1 lead.
