Razorbacks Clip Commodores in Tight Contest
It was a fun time at Ramparts Ballpark, where the Vanderbilt Commodores and Arkansas Razorbacks tangled.

The Razorbacks faced a stiff challenge from Vanderbilt pitcher Chase Thompson, but persevered to claim a win at Ramparts Ballpark. The final score was 6-3. Thompson went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. With the victory, the Razorbacks record now stands at 22-23.

Had Roy Monroe not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Monroe hit a grand slam. That made the score 6-3, in favor of the Razorbacks.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Arkansas manager Chris Fleet.
