South Carolina right-hander Mike Anderson pitched his team to victory over the Florida State Seminoles at Ballpark of Riverdale College. The final score was 5-3. The Gamecocks bumped their record to 23-21 with this latest triumph.

It could have been a different outcome for South Carolina, had it not been for David Keeley, the 19-year old second baseman . Keeley contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put South Carolina up, 3-0.

"It was a good effort all around," said Anderson.
