Yellow Jackets Win Another One
The inspired effort of North Carolina first baseman Bryan Wilson was not enough to prevent a 11-7 loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Wilson was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Georgia Tech now has a 8-game win streak.

Had Brad Fisher not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Fisher hit a bases-clearing triple. That made the score 9-7, in favor of the Yellow Jackets.

In comments to the Georgia Tech Times, Fisher admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
