In a high-scoring contest between Tennessee and Clemson, center fielder Zach Harkness was a difference-maker. Harkness earned player of the game honors in the 10-8 Tennessee win. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The winner was Tennessee reliever Joel McLain, now 1-1. The loser was Mike Justice.
