The Fresno State Bulldogs defeated the Tulane Green Wave, 6-2, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Berthoud College Grounds, with Fresno State designated hitter Bobby Wilson named player of the game. John Schriner, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.2 innings. The 9th-place Bulldogs now have a 4-game winning streak.

Justin LaMarr aided the Fresno State cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," LaMarr said.
