Bulldogs Drop Another One
The California Golden Bears used an offensive barrage to beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 12-1, at Crowley College Grounds. Kevin Reiss led the way, going 3-for-5 for California. Mississippi State has now lost 6 consecutive games.

Shane Wetherbee aided the California cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder was 1-2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Wetherbee said.
