Razorbacks Pull Even With 5-2 Victory
|
Jonathan DeLille had a hand in Arkansas defeating Alabama by the score of 5-2. DeLille went 2 for 3 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 3 runs. Jimmy Baron, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.1 innings. The Razorbacks bumped their record to 21-21 with this latest triumph.
DeLille contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Arkansas in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, DeLille took a fastball from J.J. Thompson and stroked the double to center. His 6th double of the season allowed the Razorbacks to leap in front, 3-2.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," DeLille said.
