Niemiec Helps Cardinals Run Win Streak to 3
|
The Stanford Cardinals topped the Texas A&M Aggies, 11-6, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Sooners Ballpark. The player of the game was Stanford second baseman David Niemiec. Stanford is now 30-11, 3½ games up in the Cliff Gustafson.
Nick Schweiger chipped in for Stanford with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
