Blackwell Helps Buckeyes Run Win Streak to 3
The Ohio State Buckeyes topped the Indiana State Sycamores, 8-2, in Skip Bertman League action at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. The player of the game was Ohio State right fielder Ben Blackwell. The win was Austin Burge's in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Sam Wentzel took the loss for Indiana State. The Buckeyes bumped their record to 23-18 with this latest triumph.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. That's when second baseman Andy Grant drew a walk. The Buckeyes went on to win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Blackwell. "And not try to do too much."
