Arkansas Razorbacks starter Jordan Raison turned in a top-notch performance against the North Carolina Tar Heels at Bruisers Ballpark. The result was a win for the Razorbacks, 2-1. Raison, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk. The Razorbacks raised their record to 20-21.
Andrew Taylor, who is rated as the 81st best prospect by BNN, aided the Arkansas cause with a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times.
