In a close game at Berthoud College Grounds, the Tulane Green Wave edged the Rice Owls, 5-4. Tulane right fielder Mike McKee earned the nod as player of the game. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Green Wave bumped their record to 24-16 with this latest triumph.

Nathan Gorzynski chipped in for Tulane with a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
