Emmanuel Ealey did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Michigan Wolverines from losing, 7-6, to the Auburn Tigers at Zodiac Ballpark. Ealey went 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. The 22nd-place Tigers improved to 14-25.

Zach Clarkson went 1 for 3 with a walk for Auburn. The 21-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off David Kraus. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Clarkson.
