Seminoles Turn Back Oklahoma State, 3-2

Florida State right-hander Matt Adams helped his team edge Oklahoma State by the score of 3-2. Adams kept the opposing lineup in check. The winning pitcher was Adams, now 2-2. He tossed 5 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4. Andy Wright earned the save, his 1st, for the Seminoles.
J.R. O'Brien aided the Florida State cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter drove in one run.
"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," O'Brien said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
At 18-21, the Seminoles find themselves in 15th place in the Ron Fraser Division.
