Blazers Edge Mustangs, 3-2

The Bloomington Blazers topped the Mile High Mustangs, 3-2, in Thurman Munson League action at Arson Arena. The player of the game was Bloomington pitcher and Longhua, China native Landy Lu. The winner was Bloomington reliever Paco Berroa, now 2-4. The loser was Quan Que. The Blazers bumped their record to 42-30 with this latest triumph.
Camden Mansel was the walk-off hero for Bloomington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blazers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Lu said.
