Victory Pushes Prowlers Record to 45-28
The South Carolina Bombers got a superb performance from right fielder Kiyonobu Yamasaki. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Oklahoma City. The Prowlers won the game, 9-6. In spite of the loss, Yamasaki was named the player of the game. He went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Millard Richardson picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-1. He struck out 3 in 7.2 innings. Soleh Purbacaraka converted his 21st save in 23 tries.

Hae-nim Kim helped out the Oklahoma City cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher was 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 times.

"The vibe's good," said Oklahoma City manager Evan Kiser. "We've got to keep it going."

Oklahoma City has now won 6 straight, while the Bombers have lost 3 in a row.
