|
Missouri rode a good effort from starter Jeremy Dineen to beat the Oklahoma Sooners at Ballpark of Ridge College. The final score was 4-1. Dineen picked up the win for Missouri, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Chris Van Arsdale was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.
Ivan Lopez, who is tied for 3rd in the SBL in doubles with 11, aided the Missouri cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman went 2-3 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Dineen told reporters after the game.
With the win, the Tigers have a record of 10-27.
